This piece was born out of one of those emphatic moments of reflection I often go through as an artist. In my process, whether I am making music or taking photographs or designing or writing poetry or a screenplay, I am thoroughly entrenched in reference. My art is a study of the art I love. Music, cinema, literature, fashion, and design all combine symphonically to create a moment of purpose and discovery that I can only derive from art. If only I could hold the moment in the palm of my hand; memory is my greatest gift.
